I—COMMITMENT TO FAITH
All trainees are expected to live in harmony with Biblical principles, and to adhere to the standards and practices of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Promotion of anti-trinitarianism, describing the Seventh-day Adventist Church as Babylon, or sympathizing to the beliefs of offshoots (such as the Branch Davidians, SDARM, Retain 9, Local Conference, etc.) is subject for suspension or immediate dismissal.
II—HONESTY
Honesty is a vital principle and highly esteemed in PAFCOE. All participants are expected and required to be HONEST AT ALL TIMES. Any form of dishonesty: lying, gossiping, cheating, forgery, etc. are grounds for immediate dismissal. Allowing someone else to take the course lessons and/or answer the quizzes in your stead is dishonesty.
III—MODESTY AND APPROPRIATE CLOTHING
At PAFCOE, we strive to be the best at everything we do. We realize that God has called us to be a witness for Him. As part of that calling, we believe that dress and grooming should be modest, neat, and clean. Recognizing that our program demands a high standard of professionalism & excellence, the following dress policies are in effect for all trainees:
Please be advised that torn jeans, sleeveless or stomach revealing tops, skin-tight apparel, low-cut or unbuttoned shirts are not allowed at anytime when appearing before a live class or in doing any course related activities. Any jewelry, including wedding bands/rings, shall not be worn. Tattoos should be covered and not visible if possible.
A professional or professional-casual look is expected. Dress or kaki pants with collared or button-up shirt or barong are required for men. Skirts or dresses are required for ladies. Jeans, shorts, T-shirts, or mini-skirts are not allowed at anytime when appearing before a live class or in doing any course related activities.
IV—ACADEMIC CONCERNS
PAFCOE is committed to providing the very best instruction and lecturers available. We are constantly seeking to find and schedule additional Spirit-filled, Bible-believing instructors.
PAFCOE is not an accredited school, but rather a training center of evangelism. Therefore, we cannot guarantee college/university credit for the completion of a PAFCOE Online Course. PAFCOE will issue a certificate of completion for all who satisfactorily completes a particular online course.
V—LEARNING THE MOST
PAFCOE trainees have varying educational backgrounds and age range. Professionals and even people who have not undergone formal education can be very hard to teach if they think that they have already learned enough or if they think that they are higher or better than their instructors. Albert Barnes once said, “The great hindrance to all true wisdom is the thought that we have already attained it.” Proverbs 10:8 says, “The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.” PAFCOE Trainees are expected to approach the training with a humble and teachable spirit.
During the training, you will learn life changing principles from the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy. However, all of these will be of no use if it will not be applied. “Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise” (1 Corinthians 3:18). PAFCOE is a training center and we will only accept applicants who are willing to be trained. “Solomon was never so rich or so wise or so truly great as when he confessed, “I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.” (Christian Leadership, p. 13)
VI—DISMISSAL POLICY
Trainees are asked to assist the staff and other trainees by manifesting a cooperative, harmonious attitude. All must abide by written rules as outlined in this page. If you have concerns, questions, or special circumstances, please discuss them with our administration. Every effort is made to carefully resolve such issues.
PAFCOE reserves the right to dismiss a participant, without a refund, who fails to abide by the policies and guidelines in this page.
